Help Make a Difference

Sign up to Tutor Today!

The McKenzie Regional Workforce Center is hosting an after-school club for middle school and high school students to provide positive incentives for students who utilize homework help!

This program, Homework Help+, aims to assist our members who struggle academically and have difficulty accessing help to improve their academic performance and readiness for high school, college, apprenticeship, or a career.

As a tutor, YOU can make a difference in the lives of our students and help improve not only their performance in school but their overall behavior and attitude towards school as well.

We currently need volunteers and tutors at our McKenzie Regional Workforce Center (5215 Verona Road, Fitchburg) on the following days:

  • Mondays from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Math only)
  • Thursdays from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

During this time, tutors will provide academic guidance with assignment completion, test preparation, and study skills. No previous experience is required! We will provide resources and training to all tutors.

Interested? Complete the volunteer interest form below, and we will contact you with the next steps.
